The Creative Process

Your Vision is where it all starts. If you're in the market for a website you've probably done some homework by looking at other websites and observing what style, components, colours you like.

Once your vision has a voice, a quote will be provided and will outline the work involved.

Some Hints:
What is the colour palette?
The theme - subtle, active, cool temperature, mild movement, bright and sharp, etc.
What is more important - the look or the functionality?
What is your target audience?
You expect your website to do...?

wtlogo The process of developing a website, animation, or printed material has a common thread - the cycle of concept development, product mock-up, approval, development, 99% level, and completion. The process below begins after the quote approval process.

Concept Development
Your vision is clarified and transformed into a working concept. This is the basic building block.

Mock-up
This is a materialization of the concept towards a goal. For a website, this process is key as the client
must now choose the general direction of the look and feel of the site. For print, this would be a rough
draft or un-polished product.

Approval
Once the concept and mock-up is completed, the commitment to the agreed upon theme, style, colour
pallette, and functionality will be adhered to and the client is asked to 'sign-off' on their approval. This
is a benchmark of the project.

Development
The bulk of the work happens here. The website is developed and produced with the guidelines of the
approved concept.

99% level
The last step to do 'minor' changes in text and other elements. Once completed, your website that
started as a concept is now published and online with the world waiting.
